The Message/Arrisalah

Lebih kurang dua minggu sudah aku pesan The Message/Arrisalah.

Sampai pada pagi 2/12/2011

Alhamdulillah selamat jugak sampai walaupun makan hati sebab tak sampai sebelum awal Muharram hari tu. Rancang pada mulanya nak layan cerita ni masa cuti awal Muharram tu... Tapi apa boleh buat, tak dapat. Kena cari masa lain lah pulak.

Gambar sampul mcm yg biasa boleh didapati di Speedy Video.

Ada kawan kata, kenapa tak beli je yg kat Speedy Video? Nampak mcm sama je kan? DVD ni spesel sket sbb ia menampilkan dua versi filem: (1) versi antarabangsa (Inggeris) dan satu lagi (2) versi Arab. Kedua-dua versi dilakonkan oleh pelakon yg berbeza.

Apa kata layan gambar-gambar berikut...

"Two great epics in the true sense of the word.

Paling best ada "The Making of the film Documentary"!

Berikut adalah sinopsis yg diberi pada belakang DVD:

"It is the 7th century and in Mecca, where powerful leaders are in conflict with Mohammad who attacks the many injustices their way of life produces - slavery, drunkenness and cruelty. Mohammad claims to have seen a vision of the Angel Gabriel and calls to the people of Mecca to worship one God only.

After a revelation from God, Mohammad agrees to take arms against Mecca and at the Wells of Bedr the inexperienced Moslem troops are victorious. However, at the battle of Uhud they are beaten. They accept a ten year truce, so that they can continue to spread the word of God.

Mohammad is the prophet... The Messenger of God."

Kalau nak tahu lebih lanjut mengenai filem hebat ni bolehlah baca pada entri yg pernah aku paparkan sebelum ini.

Cuma satu aje yg kurang pada DVD (aku dah tahu sblm pesan hari tu) ialah ketiadaan sarikata Inggeris mengiringi tayangan. Versi Inggeris tu boleh tahan lagi sbb mmg bhs ibunda... Yg dlm versi Arab ni yg payah sket. Terpaksalah kelip2 mata meneka apa yg pelakon ucapkan...

Nasib, nasib, nasib... *Menangis dalam hati*
